This is where the canvas begins to move. There’s This is where the canvas begins to move.
There’s something pretty incredible about seeing artwork that began on a canvas finally printed on the fabrics I chose for this collection.
The colors. The feel. The way the fabric moves.
Little by little, it’s becoming real.
Georgette. Spring 2027. 💕
The details. 💕 Lots of tiny decisions go into tak The details. 💕
Lots of tiny decisions go into taking something from an idea to a garment.
The neckline. The trim. The stripe. Where the waist falls. How the sleeve moves. And yes—pockets. Always pockets. 👏🏻
Individually, they’re small choices.
Together, they’re what make the whole thing feel just right.
Getting closer. 💕
Spring 2027
The ideas don’t seem to care what time it is. The The ideas don’t seem to care what time it is.
They come in the middle of the night, early in the morning, when I’m supposed to be working on something completely different…
And once an idea gets in my head, it has to find its way out.
So I sketch. I move things around. I play with color and pattern and shape until the thing I could see in my head starts appearing in front of me.
Beautiful + comfortable + strapless. For the win today. 💕
It started with the art. And as it becomes somet It started with the art.
And as it becomes something you can wear, I still want the art itself to have a place in the story.
Keep the art. Wear the art. 🖼️
Although I knew the empty nest day was coming, wha Although I knew the empty nest day was coming, what I didn’t know was that as one season of life was closing, another was waiting to be discovered.
Often, God doesn’t show you the whole plan at once. It’s revealed little by little, on His time. He plants seeds in our hearts long before we know to water them.
For years now I’ve painted, created, and designed patterns that have sat in waiting for their time.
And now, in this season when I suddenly have more room to ask what’s next for me, I’m sitting at this table watching seeds get watered and ideas become reality. 🌟
A few months ago, a boutique owner approached me a A few months ago, a boutique owner approached me about using my artwork on garments she was creating.
I was honored. Truly. This was a dream I’d carried for years, so having someone else see possibility in my designs meant more to me than she probably realized.
And I seriously considered it.
But somewhere in that process, something became very clear to me.
I didn’t just want to design the print.
I wanted to design the garment.
I wanted to think about the silhouette. The sleeve. The collar. The length. The fit. How it would move. How it would feel to wear.
If my name was going to be on it, I wanted the whole thing to feel like me.
In many ways, that conversation gave me the push I needed to finally pursue the bigger dream I’d been carrying all along.
And for that, I’ll always be grateful.
Sometimes an opportunity doesn’t become the destination.
Sometimes it shows you where you were meant to go.

Beauty is where it begins. But, to me, how a garme Beauty is where it begins. But, to me, how a garment feels when you actually live in it matters just as much.
How it falls. How it moves. How it feels against your skin. Whether you can put it on in the morning, feel completely put together—and still be happy you’re wearing it hours later.
Those are the things I’m thinking about as Georgette becomes more than artwork on a canvas.
Because I don’t just want the art to be beautiful, I want it to feel beautiful in motion.

Pretty isn’t enough. As I’ve been designing this Pretty isn’t enough.
As I’ve been designing this first collection, I’ve had a few non-negotiables. One of the biggest is how I want a woman to feel in her clothes.
I have pieces in my closet that are incredibly comfortable—but they’re mostly plain and neutral.
Then I have the beautiful, colorful pieces I fell in love with on the rack. I reach for them when I’m dressing for a lunch, dinner or special occasion—but they aren’t necessarily the pieces I want to live in all day.
And I kept thinking: why should I have to choose?
I want to create clothes that bring together the things I’ve always wanted in my own closet—color, beauty and original art, with the kind of comfort that makes you reach for them again and again.
Because my ultimate compliment someday wouldn’t just be, “I felt like a million bucks in my Georgette.”
It would be:
“I felt like a million bucks in my Georgette ALL DAY.”
That’s the goal. ❤️
